In 1897, A. Krymsky listened to a "Mouwashshah" song, that was popular in Beirut called "Anta l'mudallal". He translated it to Ukrainain, and published it in his "Beirut Tales" and in his first poems collection "Palmove Hillia".
The source of the lyrics is so old and unknown, but the composer of the music which A. Krymsky listened to, is the first founder of the Arab theater Ahmed Abou Khalil Alkabbani (1833-1903).
The Egyptian version of this "Mouwashshah" was song by the famous composer Ibrahim Al-Hajjar (1922-2000).
